Just a bit of screwing around on my recently acquired wacom cintiq. Painted in photoshop CS5 with the original star wars movie for reference. I didn't stick to it that much, though, as you can see from Vader's breast plate which isn't entirely as it is in the movie. =)
The black speck hanging from the NDS is a ma-kuru-kuru-ske (if that is the right spelling?) from the Ghibli movies... one of the black coals / black little sprites that live in the Totoro family's house.
(I came back from 2 weeks in Japan about a month ago... WOW what an amazing experience!)
